Folsom Bass Team locks a Type B day at Lake Oroville Sept. 19
Lake Oroville gets a one-day Type B black bass card in mid-September. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved Type B permit for Folsom Bass Team on Oroville, Lake on Sept. 19, 2026.
Type B covers black bass contests with 60 or fewer anglers and is capped at three days; CDFW also limits those cards to three per water per day. Folsom’s Saturday sits immediately ahead of Fairfield-Suisun Bass Reapers’ approved two-day Type B on the same reservoir Sept. 20–21 — back-to-back club traffic on the Feather River arm.
Anglers fishing Oroville recreationally that Saturday should plan around tournament launches and weigh-in. Confirm current black bass bag and size rules for the lake before keeping fish, and check the sponsor for registration.
