Folsom Bass Team books Oroville for a Type B weekend Oct. 17–18

Folsom Bass Team returns to Oroville for a mid-October weekend. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved two-day Type B black bass permit for Folsom Bass Team on Oroville, Lake Oct. 17–18, 2026.

This is not the club’s one-day Type B on Sept. 19. Type B covers black bass contests with 60 or fewer anglers, three days max, and up to three Type B cards per water per day. That same Saturday, BANC holds a Type A at Clear Lake, so trail traffic splits between the Feather River arm and Lake County.

Recreational anglers at Oroville that weekend should plan around tournament launches. Confirm current black bass rules before keeping fish, and contact the team for entry.
