Fairfield-Suisun Bass Reapers book Oroville for a Type B weekend Sept. 20–21
Lake Oroville’s mid-September bass calendar now runs Saturday through Monday. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved two-day Type B black bass permit for Fairfield-Suisun Bass Reapers on Oroville, Lake Sept. 20–21, 2026.
Type B is the smaller black bass class — 60 or fewer anglers, three days max, and no more than three Type B permits on the same water on the same date. This weekend card follows Folsom Bass Team’s approved one-day Type B on Sept. 19, so the reservoir carries club traffic three days straight.
Recreational anglers that Sunday–Monday should expect extra boats around launch ramps and weigh-in. Confirm current Oroville black bass rules before keeping fish, and contact the Reapers for entry — CDFW’s board does not take registrations.
