Delta Bass Club stacks a Type B beside Bay Area Bassbusters on Sept. 19
Two Type B black bass cards now sit on the Contra Costa Delta the same Saturday. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved one-day Type B permit for Delta Bass Club on the Delta (Contra Costa County) on Sept. 19, 2026 — the same date and water as Bay Area Bassbusters.
That stack is legal. Section 230 lets CDFW issue up to three Type B permits per water per day (Type B is the 60-or-fewer angler black bass class, three days max). A second club on the same levees is the rule working as written, not a conflict.
Expect a busier Saturday on the west Delta than a single-club day. Recreational boats should give blast-off and weigh-in corridors extra space, confirm current black bass rules before keeping fish, and contact Delta Bass Club directly for entry details.
