Bay Area fall kings still on the Sept. 16 NorCal boat sheet

Wednesday’s Bay salmon sheet is a new day, not Monday’s Diamond limits or the earlier Emeryville Sept. 14–15 briefs. NorCal Fish Reports’ Fish Counts by Boat for Sept. 16, 2026 still shows fall Chinook around the Golden Gate.

Berkeley: California Dawn II’s full day put 11 anglers on 17 king salmon to 24 pounds. Right Hook’s half-day AM went 6 anglers / 8 kings. Sausalito’s Outer Limits (Big Cs Charters) ran a full day for 19 anglers and 17 kings. San Francisco’s Lovely Martha stacked the day’s biggest salmon pile — 9 anglers, 18 kings to 25 pounds.

Fish Emeryville was quieter than those earlier limit days: Diamond 6 anglers / 6 kings; Here We Go 4 / 3 kings. Same-day regional sheet, not the salmon lede: Bodega’s Surf Scooter (13 anglers, full day) boarded 26 lingcod to 18 pounds and 130 rockfish. Monterey stayed on the bottom — Check Mate 17 anglers / 20 lingcod and 146 rockfish; Kahuna 9 / 13 lingcod and 90 rockfish.

Confirm current CDFW ocean salmon bag and area rules before you keep a king. Dock totals move as boats call in.
