Best Bass Tournaments locks a Type A Clear Lake weekend Oct. 10–11
Clear Lake’s October Type A stack now has a middle weekend. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved two-day Type A black bass permit for Best Bass Tournaments on Clear Lake (Lake County) Oct. 10–11, 2026.
Type A covers black bass contests with more than 60 anglers; only one Type A is allowed per water per day, and events max out at three days. This card sits after Anglers Press Outdoors’ Type A on Oct. 3–4 and ahead of BANC’s Type A Clear Lake weekend Oct. 17–18 — three consecutive Type A Saturdays on the same lake.
The same Oct. 10–11 dates already show Type B club permits on Clear Lake as well, so ramps and weigh-in corridors will be busy. Confirm current black bass rules before keeping fish, and contact Best Bass Tournaments for registration.
