Bay Area Bassbusters books a Type B Delta day Sept. 19
The Contra Costa Delta picks up another mid-September club day. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved one-day Type B black bass permit for Bay Area Bassbusters on the Delta (Contra Costa County) on Sept. 19, 2026.
Type B permits cover black bass contests with 60 or fewer anglers and may not run longer than three days. Under Section 230, CDFW will issue up to three Type B cards on the same water on the same date — room for another club to stack beside this one.
Recreational anglers on the west Delta that Saturday should expect extra tournament traffic around popular launch and weigh-in corridors. Confirm current black bass bag and size rules before keeping fish, and get registration from the sponsor, not the permit row.
