Basin Bassmaster Loomis lands a Type B Clear Lake day Sept. 26

California Fishing

Clear Lake picks up a late-September Type B club day. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing-contests board lists an approved one-day Type B black bass permit for Basin Bassmaster Loomis on Clear Lake (Lake County) on Sept. 26, 2026.

Type B permits cover black bass contests with 60 or fewer anglers and may not exceed three days. That Saturday is already a big NorCal tournament date: BANC’s one-day Type A at Lake Berryessa and Cen Cal Elite’s Type A Delta weekend both start the same morning, so trail traffic splits across three waters.

Clear Lake recreational anglers that Saturday should watch for extra club boats after the American Bass Type A weekend (Sept. 25–27) that already occupies the main lake. Confirm current black bass bag and size rules before keeping fish, and get entry details from the sponsor.
